Transfer mobile number to my name

My now ex partner,  paid for my mobile SIM card monthly. Can I transfer the ownership of that number over to me? I'm already a sky customer

Not directly as the on;y way to do it would be for you to order a new sim card with a data plan, they would then have to transfer that Sim to a PAYG network then from that network back to your new Sky sim card.
