Switched from sky to EE - need final bill for handset

Switched my phone contract from sky to EE, but they pay a fee to cover handset/sim to end the full contract. How do I get a final bill for what's left of the handset? Otherwise I will have to just continue paying that as there is no way to 'end' that without paying in full now

Are you sure? That's typically for broadband (and it's a capped contribution, not necessarily full repayment)

Yes it's through UW they pay up to £400 for exit fees

But quite specific terms (And excludes handset):

To qualify for this offer, you must switch at least three of the following services to us:

  • energy

  • broadband

  • mobile

  • insurance (excluding Home Insurance)

If your current provider charges early termination fees (excluding usage charges or handset costs) when you move these services to us, we'll credit up to £400 to your UW account to cover those costs.

https://help.uw.co.uk/article/account/help_to_switch/whats-the-gbp400-early-termination-fee-offer-to...

Note that Sky do charge separately for device and airtime (so only airtime fees covered).

Hello, no it's other way round. I have moved from sky to UW(EE) so awaiting the final bill for handset and sim from sky to send to them as they cover the exit fee

Yes, aware of that.  But the terms won't cover the handset.  (Just the exit fees for dataplan)

There is no 'final bill' for the handset.  You pay the credit until cleared.

@Demi2711

Given the outrageous cost of some cellular hardware it simply isn't possible for a company to offer to pay off outstanding purchase loan balances and still make a profit themselves.
