Switch from EE to any mobile, but no sky mobile network showing.

Switching from EE to sky mobile.

activated Sim on Friday. 
pac code entered. Informed that transfer would occur on Monday.
downloaded apps from old phone to new phone  on Friday.

received message Monday from Sky saying number has been transferred and now on sky mobile. Old phone no network shows.

put sim in new phone. No network.

tried rebooting but still no network showing.

how to get phone to pick up sky mobile network?

Have you tried getting it to search for all available networks and then checked to see if it will then connect to Sky ?

Tried turning automatic selection off and the selected sky manually but nothing changes

Was the phone purchased from EE, Sky or from a phone shop?
Is there any error message?
Have you logged onto your account & chosen to send the settings to the phone?
Ensure the number has changed over within the phone's settings & if needed change the number, you may have a temporary number. Also check the phone's network selection is set to automatic.

Phone was purchased from sky. We have another 3 phones already from sky.

no error message, just doesn't pick up signal.

yes I have logged on and resent network settings. Doesn't appear to do anything.

I changed the phone number in settings when I put the sim in. The phone number was showing as blank

Then you may need to phone Sky & have them send a replacement sim.
Does WiFi calling work? If so you can use 150 to call from your phone.
