I didn't realise I could upload photos and videos so I've taken one of each and see if any of you can find any fault

Re: Swap Phone - "Additional Damage" found

So finally after almost 2 months later, the correct devices have been returned to the correct parties and today I received my refund from Sky (double the amount in fact as a gesture of goodwill) and this matter is finally closed.

The same has happened to me my phone was immaculate and they have said it has extra damage and they would only pay me half of the value they are filthy liars but I will keep this phone my new one until it's all paid off then I will leave they'll be the losers as we were going to take our telephone and broadband with them but not now they can stick it and social media is a great way of letting everyone know

Re: Swap Phone - "Additional Damage" found

Just had exactly the same issue with a Samsung Galaxy A53 G. Phone was in mint condition when I sent it in and they reduced the swap offer to £15.

Refused the swap as phone was fully paid for by the time they got back to me so had phone returned. Still in mint condition.

Took it to CEX today and got £83 for it. Bloke said it looked brand new.

The whole Sky Swap thing is a scam.

Avoid.

Re: Swap Phone - "Additional Damage" found

I am currently in the same situation I've called over 10 times exactly now as I've noted it down over the last around 2/1/2 months they have also claimed that my old iPhone 14 pro plus which i swapped that wiped what was left on my contract had a cracked screen, the advisor said the actual screen then mid phone call changed it to the back of my phone where the crack is apparently. Like u mine was in mint condition. I wouldn't have sent it back otherwise if I knew it was a risk it wouldn't cover my contract. Trying to claim £56 off me. I've waited since Thursday for a manager AND sky mobile technicians to call me which was meant to have been last Friday. U should ask for the technicians tech report and evidence from  them.
