If your bills are overdue Sky won't speak to you until you pay anything you owe.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreCan you provide some background to this? Are your mobile services restricted due to a missed payment? Are you referring to the possibility of a payment holiday, although it's not what you describe as a spreading of payments?

Have you checked your future bills to see what they say you will be charged ?

Hi
i swapped my phone , I clearly didn't read and understand everything properly and my next bill is huge. Not something I can pay in one hit... I'd be happy to spread it. I appreciate it's my mistake but I can't seem to do anything about it.

Yes my future bills are what I expected... I clearly didn't read things correctly and that's my mistake . I'm happy pay what I owe I just can't do it in one hit.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI would guess that bill is big because you still own an amount on the phone you have returned so it has been added to your next bill, this will be because the value Sky "gave" you for it was not enough to pay it off.

Thank you....
I realise I've made a mistake but it appears I have to pay in one payment.
I've now spoken to someone who has told me to cancel my DD on due date and redo next day with my normal payment....he said this will stop it coming out before Xmas but will be charged following month🤷♀️

Hmmm. I suspect the automated system will restrict your services and will charge you a late payment fee.
I don't believe that 'advice' is good.

No I didn't either. I wondered if there was a language misunderstanding but he made it very clear that's what it meant.
not sure what I can do 😞

You would normally 'swap' your old phone that should clear the outstanding balance.
You need to find a way as failed payments could render the new agreement void and that becomes immediately payable in full too.
There's not a lot us other customers can do.
