For a couple weeks now, I've been recieving texts from HSBC (Bank) with Verification Codes. I am not with HSBC. On WhatsApp, I received a message from "Temu" saying I had subscribed to their officla WhatsApp channel. Additionally, I've received a call asking for a "Matthew" who is not me. As well as a text messege again looking for "Matthew" and saying "Heather" (again a person I do not know) gave them this (my) number to contact. I messeged them back saying I was not the person they were looking for, and to tell this "Heather" to stop sharing this number and inform "Matthew" he's also using the wrong number. It has no stopped.
So it seems someone is either mistakenly or purposefullly using my mobile number while either not realizing it, or worse, being successful with it. What can be done about this?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you have had your sim for 12 months or more you could get Sky to cancel it and order another one for you that will come with a different number.
