I rang Sky on Tuesday to ask how to cancel the sky mobile as there is no signal in our area. This was well within the 2 week cooling off period. We were told to be able to switch back to Vodafone we must contact Vodafone and they will port the number over. So I called Vodafone, they said they can do this for me. My Sky sim stopped working on Tuesday morning.
Then I called Vodafone on Wednesday when I received my new sim they told me the porting over of my number from Sky didn’t work and that I need to contact Sky again to get a different account number..
I called Sky again, was told the phone number does not exist, nor does the account number exist .The Sky sim was used for 8 days on my number – they told me I didn’t use it – as if I was lying or making it up. I know I made and received many phone calls on my Sky sim with my own number in the 8 days. One customer service agent told me I didn’t and I was using my Vodafone sim – bearing in mind my Voafone sim was in the bin and had stopped working anyway once I activated my Sky sim. I have never been treated like this by anyone in my life. I have no phone for a full week now.
I don't understand how they are claiming both my phone number and account number don't exist when they are clearly shown on the bill.
This needs to be sorted out immediately.
