I have recently purchased another sky mobile device and airtime plan. I want to retain my sky mobile number I currently have to my new device. I have closed my initial airtime plan and obtained a PAC from sky, upon trying to transfer my old number to my new device I get an error message

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe reason you are getting an error is because pac codes can only be used when transfering between different networks as they can't be used to move the number from one Sky sim to another one. As you already have a Sky then you can move it into your new phone.

Hi thank you for your help.
unfortunately this doesn't help my challenge. I didn't do an upgrade instead I reserved the new iPhone and added a new device and airtime plan. therefore I have two sky mobile numbers and I want to keep the first.

Thete is no other way around this and no other way around it.

Hi, I recently was in the same position. Instead of upgrading my phone I took out a full new phone and sim contract but wanted to keep my old number from my previous sim. I was advised I could put my old sim in my new phone and the new sim would be cancelled after 30 days with no charges! Hope this helps
