This depends on if you are swapping early, so if you are on Swap24 which is a 36 month contract and you are swapping before the 24 months is up the chances are you will have to pay the remainder off because if you go ahead with it then the amount you pay is added to your next available bill.

so for example if you still owe £350 and sky offer you £250 and you accept you still owe sky £100

Okay thank you for clarification this is helpful

So for example if I swap today, and sky offer me 90 and I have 240 how much do I pay?

@Ryleyrys The device you swap still has to be paid off in full so if sky offers £90 for it but you still owe £240 there is a difference of £130 which you have to pay

So i would need to pay 130 in full?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYes @Ryleyrys using the figures you provided the £130 would be added to your next bill to be paid in full. If the phone you are sending back is in good condition and at the correct swap time (24 months) then that should pay the amount you owe.

When I last checked it said the phone would cost 90. So how much would they put towards the bill. I have 240 left to pay on my bill, and sky swap said its worth 90.

@Ryleyrys £90
the £90 comes off the £240 you have left to pay which reduces the amount you have to pay to £130

Ok. And If im not able to pay 130 in time what should do?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe £130 gets added to your next bill so has to be paid. If you believe you might not be able to afford it then it might be worth not swapping until you can.
