I have exactly the same problem in Vancouver. Worked first couple of days and now nothing, just SOS. 

did you manage to resolve?

Abroad roaming inaccessible

I am in Canada and got access to roaming on first day however now no access only sos. Tried all guidance on line

Strange question and 99% sure it's not related but did everyone here fly West Jet and use on board WiFi from Telus flying over?

Same here made a complaint but no response. Updated the phone, tried absolutely everything but only literal radio silence from Sky. Why pay for a service you don't get. Breach of contract anyone?

Well I've now had limited success with changing or reviewing the settings under the mobile services. It is still stopping every few days and I have to try the process again. So with no guarantees, try this on an iPhone only (I'm running the ios26 dev beta 7 release)

 

under mobile services

Scroll down to Sim applications

it should say sky menu with a blue text selection below it. If you tap on the blue text you will get a list: 

(Primary) Roaming

Automatic

Sky Settings

Partner Settings


It is usually Automatic, but try selecting Sky settings, save it. Go back to home and then power off and on the phone ... hopefully, that may do it. 

 

I've done that and it worked for me. But every two days it stops and I have to repeat the process. Good luck.

I also have a suspicion that this may have something to do with the Canadian mobile systems adopting this satellite  SOS system. This didn't happen to me last year with the same phone I'm using now. And funny how it tries to connect to that SOS satellite all the time. I'm seeing ads on tv from Roger's all about it. So I think they've made changes to their systems and Sky hasn't kept up.

Get an esim - if Sky are working in this they are either incompetent given this has been going on for months or it is such a low priority that they don't really feel the need to address this situation.
