It's worth downloading offline maps from Google too, you don't get traffic updates but everything else works fine

No connection in Canada
I can see from the Community discussions that connection in Canada has been a regular problem in 2025.
I have travelled to Canada previously with this phone and it connected fine. I have all the necessary roaming and international packages and the phone worked fine in the USA this week, but since arrival in Toronto has purely indicated "No Service SOS only". I've run all the troubleshooting routines to no avail and checked that the phone can see four networks including Rogers which it's connected to before, but won't even connect via manual selection.
I've tried the virtual assistant which was no help at all and concluded I needed to phone Sky... if only there were a network connection!!
Please help me Sky, as clearly the problem has been ongoing for a while and Sky has not sleeved the issue for its customers.

I used a Saily eSim predominantly for Google Maps whilst driving on Vancouver Island. It was around $5 CAD for 1 GB for a week. The Sky Service was fine in USA, it literally stopped working as I crossed the border. Not sure why Sky can't fix the issue if it's been a problem since May. Good luck everyone

SOS permanently displayed on iPhone
Since arriving in Canada the SOS symbol has been permanently displayed which is so limiting what I can do with the phone. Anyone help?

Canada roaming
My Roaming has stopped in Canada. iPhone 14. I've tried all the sky app suggestions, but no joy. Don’t seem to be able to get in touch with sky.
any help appreciated

No network connection in Canada
My I phone won't connect to a mobile network in Toronto I have switched my phone off and back on again other members of my party don't have any problem but they are not with sky

Can’t make calls or use data in Canada
Using IPhone 13 mini in Canada - tried all the online help including selecting a local network and it's all failed. Next step is to call Sky but I can't make calls!

No service signal in Canada, travelling from Scotland
I had 2 texts about this pass plus being active in Canada and changed my spend cap to £25 a month to cover any additional charges, however, I cannot use any signal/data as I'm stuck on SOS so can only use wifi. My roaming is on, I've tried changing network to Bell myself and does not work, any ideas or tips

Buy an esim - problem has been going on for months, doesn't appear to be very high on anyone's priority list to resolve the issue.
Ring them up when you get back and tell them you want a refund - be persistent
