Re: No roaming service in Canada
Get an esim and claim the cost back from Sky .
The answer doesn't work in the majority of cases

Re: No roaming service in Canada
I contacted Sky about this issue and they gave no explanation about why this is happening and refused to refund the cost of esims I had to purchase to get around the problem.

Re: No roaming service in Canada
They applied a credit to account for both phones for June, and the cost of 2 esims on our return from Canada. They are well aware of the problem and have been for some months.
Communication with them is awful

Any credit would be discretionary- annoying but the terms do not guarantee roaming access.
Having said that it does appear to be an ongoing issue but we've no idea of the numbers impacted - from the number of posts here it seems low.
Try submitting a complaint.

What's annoying is how the issue is being dealt with - or not

I did submit it as a complaint and it was denied.

You obviously have the ultimate option to vote with your feet... (assuming you're not subject to a minimum contract)

no mobile connections in USA/Canada
Has anyone had any issues with using sky SIM in Canada?
I am holidaying in Canada, and my phone Samsung A26 5G, will not regiser with any mobile network here (Bell, Rogers, Telus, etc.). I have had no problems in previous years. I arrive in Canada, I switch on roaming/data and I'm good to go. This time, I can't text, use phone, etc. Meaning passport won't activate. I've tried contacting SKY, and the AI assistant is a joke (being very diplomatic), I'll refrain from saying something more appropriate.

Re: no mobile connections in USA/Canada
Your post has been moved into this thread discussing ongoing connection problems in Canada. Sky are aware some customers are having this issue. Sky have stated it's being investigated. Also see the post currently showing as the answer.

Any credit from Sky would be at their discretion. Sky and other providers do not guaranteed roaming.

Not what you would call good customer service though is it, hiding behind your Ts & C's as opposed to doing the right thing.
Still I suppose anything is defensible

Re: Sky stopped working whilst in Canada
Evryone understands that if you are in he middle of the Rockies you are unlikely to get a signal. then again no one is getting a signal
However if like myself you were also completely without any service in places like Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria & Halifax that is a completely different matter.
In my own case I was also wihout any service for more than 36 hours after my return to the UK
After discusions with Sky they agreed to compensate for the time without a signal and for the cost of the esims purchased by both myself & my wife.
I would suggest that given they are well aware of this isue that is the bare minium required regardless of any contractual small print
