Sky mobile signal dropped almost everywhere

For about 2 months now my sky mobile signal has dropped to almost nothing almost everywhere.

I live in a rural are with a good signal on 4g, and I commute to central London where I work.

Inside my home, outside my home, my car journey to train station, commute by train to Central London and most places I travel in an around london are lucky if I see one bar most of the time.

There are occasional times when it may jump to more bars, but only intermittently and then drops off again.

My phone is a Galaxy S23 Ultra and is as new, and works fine on Wifi (see exception below)

I have removed and cleaned my sim card, I have checked the sim tray is closing properly. I have also tried putting the phone into airplane mode and then back to Sim again, tried turning on/off location, also bluetooth.

I am now out of options. I went to a repair shop that said my phone was working properly, they suggested I speak to my network provider and asking for a signal boost. Would that fix it?

Big question, if the boost would work, why was it fine one day and then not the next and for the last couple of months.

Thanks in advance for any advice. I'm not technical so please don't drown me in technical jargon.

Sounds like you need to contact Sky who will probably suggest sending you a replacement SIM card in case yours has developed a fault. Dial 150 free from your mobile when the lines reopen.
