Have travelled numerous times to Japan in the past 5 years with this exact same phone and SIM. Last time was March 2024 and roaming was working fine. Usually get the welcome text within a few minutes of taking airplane mode off. Currently in Japan and never received the welcome text. Can see network operator NTT DoCoMo 4G connected but not receiving texts which are essential for online banking. My wife's phone also on Sky Mobile usually roams ok and is acting the same way this time. Have gone through all the roaming guides and tried making changes to the phone settings and tried all available networks. When you try to dial a number I get the message "Mobile Network Unavailable" Very frustrating as can't transfer money without it. A search of the forum suggests others have been having similar problems with no resolution since September 2024 Feel let down by Sky Mobile over this and I can't call them for help, unless they have a what's app number? Can anyone offer any assistance?
