My sim plan out of contract was £3.60 for 2gb price going up to by £2 to £5.60
I also had a free for life sim which is going up to £1.00 so no longer free for life
I called sky Monday 15 Jan to discuss the email they had sent me re the above new charges.
I wished I hadn't as they have 5 calls later changed my contract which I did not want change as I will be leaving after there non understanding and ignorance and lack of customer service. Two staff did not want to speak to me one as they both had tech problems. There used to be a time when you could be transferred to the right person and sky would deal with things successfully.
The worse thing is I have my mums sim on my account also which was £4,80 for 2gb it's now been put up without my consent to £8.00 and given her 4gb she doesn't use the phone she is elderly and her phone was still in contract till August so why on earth would we change her plan .
getting no help with sky so Ive come on here it was two hours almost of wasted conversation yesterday and one email to sky complaints when will they get back to me
how easily can I cancel my new contract that I didn't ask for and that sky either did in error they claim they can't put me back to what I had yesterday morning despite it being there fault
thank you

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @DelBoy26 when you signed up with sky you signed an agreement that could include annual price rises, that's what they are doing, I think they are also getting rid of some old plans and migrating customers to new ones. If you are not happy with the new plans then you are free to leave. Just find the deal you want with another company and request your PAC(s) from sky then your numbers can be transferred to your new provider. Sky won't put you back on the old plans.
