Sky international roaming not working in India

Hi all, just wonderIng if anyone has issues with using sky roaming (UK) in India. I had spoken to Sky help desk and activated roaming before my travel. The only action left was to enable roaming in phone when I landed in destination . However it was a huge challenge for me to connect to one of the UK numbers from India yesterday and it did not work at all after waiting for hours. Any guidance in this regard is appreciated so that I don't face this problem again. TIA.

Not sure if you're aware but India is a Rest Of The World destination and therefore very very expensive to use.

Hi @Chithra  roaming in India is very expensive (see page 11 below) and you could easily run up a bill of hundreds/thousands of pounds. If you have a roaming cap and monthly spend cap set then chances are you have reached one or both of them. This will stop you using your phone. Be aware though if you remove the caps you run the risk of running up a very high bill.

I couldn't even see a network connection when I turned on my sky sim. The spend caps are on place already but due to literally no network, I couldn't even place the call.

Ensure the SIM application setting is 'roaming'.
