Re: Sky ignoring return issues
My allegations have been passed onto 'action fraud'.
Not just Sky
I've been the victim of ID theft

Which is a separate matter.
Whilst reporting it to Action Fraud is correct, it's worth adding that Action Fraud do not investigate any fraud/crime. They collate data for intelligence purposes, search for matching themes/trends and if they deem is suitable they pass the incident to the police force they feel is best located to carry out enquiries (so not necessarily your local force). (Action Fraud does not operate in Scotland)

Withholding payment won't resolve matters easily.
I don't think you'll get any different advice here.
EDIT: thread merged after my post

No need for a new thread. To give some background to today's post it's been merged into your original thread on this.

Thank you for your reply.
I'm willing to pay for the iphone, NOT the tablet. I'm going to let SKY do the chasing, at my age, credit score is irrelevant, threats of debt collection is water off a ducks back (I worked as a debt collector) I'm quite sure the courts would NOT look favourable on a multinational company trying to extract payment for something a retiree doesn't owe.

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
I'll repeat the advice provided on 20 October … the advice won't be changing as you've now posted again

You presumably came on here for advice. If you choose to ignore it that's up to you. All we can do is explain the consequences.

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
I did ignore advice that suggested I pay and attempt recovery later. Totally illogical and insane.
I managed to get the device picked up when I requested a 'deadlock letter'.
BUT I'm still being charged.

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
The answers I received are all biased in favour of Sky.
Sky refuse to interact and the only avenue left was the 'community'.
In my opinion, the answers I have received are generated by Sky itself, or at least influenced by Sky.
I don't like the replies, they are not helpful, just another mouthpiece for Sky.
I won't be submitting any more topics.

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
Quite the contrary.
We are just saying how they work (not that we necessarily agree with it).
