Re: Sky ignoring return issues
I went to reply to your post last night but unfortunately the automated filters on here gobbled it up until moderated.
Tempting as it might seem cancelling the payment method is definitely not recommended.
Doing that is going to cause you additional problems. Sky services will be restricted, you won't be able to call Sky, you wont be able to cancel, late payment fees will be added and eventually Sky could involve a debt recovery company which may affect your credit rating.

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
This is Sky mobile, not Sky tv. Two separate agreements. I will in fact be in credit when they stop charging for the tablet I don't want. I am willing to go to court. !!!!!!!!
I'm not prepared to carry on paying for something I've been trying to return for 2 months, the DD doesn't differentiate between what it is that's being paid.
I want the phone. I DON'T WANT THE TABLET.
I find it weird that Sky won't communicate, but willing to apply pressure to pay for something not needed or wanted.

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
The consequences of failing to pay (regardless of your issue) has been explained to you.
Have you considered making a complaint although you may have to set up your payment method again first?

Taking a step back.
I presume you contacted Sky and they agreed you could return the tablet within the cooling off period?

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
They REPEATEDLY told me my tablet hadn't been delivered, so couldn't initiate a return. Suddenly started charging me in late Sept (backdating payment) and yet depending which advisor I managed to get through to stated that it STILL hasn't been delivered (all on my SAR) so, charging me for a tablet that their system states I haven't got, yet I've actually had it since August.

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
I've tried numerous times, without resolution.
The communication has all been one way. Ive had ONE 12 second silent phone call from sky. That's all

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
The correct way to resolve this is to pay the outstanding amount and the taking the complaint to the ombudsman services if they will not resolve it (either deadlock or 8 weeks elapsed).
If they rule in your favour then they will have to refund accordingly.
As already noted withholding payments is not a wise way of dealing with it. (Especially as you have the item)

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
I have 2 complaints in action, without reply.
They can now chase me, I've contacted some media outlets, sought legal advice, my conscious is clear.

As I noted you can take it to ombudsman services after 8 weeks (or deadlock if earlier).

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
You presumably came on here for advice. If you choose to ignore it that's up to you. All we can do is explain the consequences.

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
I appreciate your advice, but I'm not paying for something I don't want.
I've done with the incompetent customer service.

Re: Sky ignoring return issues
Advice is simply that. I don't owe anything. They are charging me for something I don't want.
Nobody has yet explained why I should pay, they broke the agreement and lied several times. I'm not paying, then try to recover it, that's simply stupid.

We get that but there's a proper way of dealing with it (as we've noted). A court would expect you to exhaust all reasonable avenues before legal action, i.e. Ombudsman Services.
Sky is...
This is a separate matter - you may find your post is moderated as potentially unfounded allegations.
