Sky gave me a number already in use

I just set up my sim, only the number is already in use. How do I get a new number?

@Shakes2  All numbers are recycled, it's also extremely unlikely someone has currently got the same number.

 

Sky won't change the number like that, if you've had it less than 30 days simply cancel the sim and order a new one, however as already advised the number will be another recycled number.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

All numbers issued are recycled. There's simply not enough numbers (if any) anymore.

Why do you think it's in use?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

  • I tried to call my new number as I wanst getting any texts, and another person answered. We had a short conversation about this, and she confirmed that was her number, for a couple of months now

Your only option is to call Sky and ask them to cancel this one and to issue you a new sim that will have a different number with it.
