If you have a payment method setup on your account like a direct debit then there is no need to make a manual payment so what might have happened here is that Sky took their payment via your payment method so the payment you made has gone on as a credit
As for the credit you have two options:
You can either leave it as it will be used to pay next months bill.
It can be refunded to you, help of which can be arranged via here tomorrow if you would like ?
