Sky ID says”technical difficulties” when trying to link new phone

Everytime I try to link my sky id to my previous account it says "technical difficulties". Will I still get emailed tracking updates for when it'll be delivered bc I need to go out tomorrow since it won't tell me on the app?

What do you mean by your previous account, have you been a customer of Sky in the past and cancelled and then left to go elsewhere before returning ?

I mean my current one/the one I've just paid off,I wrote it quickly whilst I was at work. it is still giving me the "technical difficulties" thing when I try to click the link from sky in my email and it won't link the new phone to my sky id.

So throughout the length of this contract you have had no access to this account or have you ordered a new phone on a different account ?

I don't have access to the new phone contract at all on the sky id I had no problems with my old one and can still see it just not the new one

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
