Sim only

Hi ive currently got a sim only plan i believe is a rolling contract is it possible to cancel my current contract Then buy a new phone and use the new sim card usually this is 5 pounds but it appears free in the baskes

 

 If so Will i be able to or need to transfer my current number and still have the ability to make and receive calls and text from my new sim card

You can cancel your current sim if you have had it for 12 months or more and if it is cancelled the number will be lost so should you order a new one with your phone you will have a new number.

Thank you is there any way of working around so i can keep my current number on a sky sim card

Hi @Manmoobs  the only way is to order your new phone and sim, activate it then port your old number to another network on PAYG then port it back onto the new sim. 

Be careful that your new "free" sim isn't to 100MEG not GIG sim as that's a very small amount of data.
