Sim only deal for someone with a non smart phone

I want to know more about buying a sim card for someone with a non smart phone. Does the £1pm have a contract and what exactly does it entitle you to

@Nancy65 All Sky mobile Sims include unlimited minutes and text and are subject to a 12 month minimum term contract, the £1 deal also includes 1GB of data.

You will need a phone for this as the £1 allows you to make unlimited phone calls and send unlimted texts and also have a 1GB of mobile data which isn't much. The contract length is 12 months.
