arrrggghh replacement sim has stopped working without a phone yet again ordered the replacement yet again if this dosent work shall be cancelling

Can I please have someone contact me regarding a similar issue? I activated a new sky sim to replace my old one and it worked for a while but is now not working. If I go into my Sim manager on my phone it says the sim is an "unknown number" whereas before it said my number. I've tried everything but nothing is working.

Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

This is not the case. We spoke on the chat and I was asked to get my phone checked which I have now done and it WAS a sim issue. Tried my phone with another network sim and it worked perfectly. unfortunately that means it's so long Sky mobile.

It's not a belief, it's a fact. As the signal on Sky is so poor in my area I've switched to another network. Absolutely no issues at all with their sim.

I can't make any calls from my phone unless on WiFi. I am suddenly getting no network registered.
I have taken the sim out and put it back in
I have tried to change the network from auto to manual but it is not picking up Sky

Sim card shows not registered with network. It shows 4 bars at the top which disappears to zero bars. Tried sim in different phone and shows emergency calls only.
A total pain in the **bleep**, I need my phone for work and maps. So ordering a replacement sim which I did yesterday will mean 4 days without contacts and maps I need for work.

Is there a genuine fix for this? I'm experiencing the same issue with no resolution and I'm tempted to just cancel my SIM and go elsewhere at this point. Awful service from Sky when I rang initially, hung up on twice by the tech team!

Every single troubleshooting fix available on Sky's website, and others, including a full reset of the phone. I've tried a replacement sim, I've tried using the sim in another handset that I know works perfectly. Literally nothing has worked and from the sounds of this thread, Sky aren't too fussed about this issue so I'm tempted to just pay the early cancellation fee and walk away.
