How do I find out if I'm in a contract with my SIM?

If you have had the sim for less than 12 months then you are still in the minimum term of the contract and if you have had it more a year or more then you are not so can cancel or transfer it elsewhere if you want.

To check this go back through your mobile bill to see when you were first billed for it which will be just after you activated it:
