Sim card for tablet - what do I need in addition to my mobile sim card

I have a tablet and need a Sim card for it but cannot get any assistance from Sky other than Robot that is useless. I need to know what is best sim for my Tablet - usea in Uk and world wide, cost and coverage in South West Africa.

I want to know if I get a Sim plan with low data, that i can use data from my piggy bank associated with my sky sim card for my mobile.

You can purchase a sim with low data and top it up with data from the piggybank but when you leave the UK other charges will apply, in certain countries you will be charged £2 for every 24 hours use while in others you are charged for what you use so it can work out really expensive as you would be charged per GB, you can check these charges here:

Anywhere in Africa you're going to want a local SIM, or you'll be charged several pounds per megabyte for data.
