Signal abroad working but now stopped

So my phone connected 2 days ago whilst abroad but tonight it's stopped, does anyone know the solution. Only works when I connect to someone's wifi. Need my phone as I'm travelling alone. This also happened to me in June, is this a regular thing???. Thanks ☺️

Hi @Hannahf1  have you checked your spend cap hasn't been reached ? You haven't mentioned the country you are in ? Try turning off automatic network selection in your phone settings then do a manual search and select from the list that comes up.

Hi, many thanks for your reply. Sorry, I'm in Turkey I forgot to mention this. The strange thing is the same happened to me in June. It's all worked fine this time for 2 nights, but this evening mid FaceTime call it lost signal. Last time in June I just gave up and had no phone, and when I landed home last time my phone still wouldn't work, no calls. Once I got home I called sky from another mobile and they told me to put it onto 'home' then it worked. It's just strange it's done the same thing again. Never had problems before the last trip. I'm so not technical, so a little out of my depth, but I'll try what you said and see what happens. Thanks again for your reply

If it's an iPhone @Hannahf1 you could also try settings, mobile service, sim applications and change the setting there
