Hello
Last night, a message was attempted to be sent from my phone to two of my contacts and a couple of unknown contacts. It didn't seem to be successful, but I'm worried my sim has been compromised. I restored my phone to a backup from that morning, changed passwords, and installed bitdefender. The message no longer shows and I don't have as screenshot, but it was gobbledegook with an attachment of a Kamala Harris meme.
Is there anything else I can do to make sure this doesn't happen again? Can Sky do anything to look into someone potentially spoofing via my number?
Many thanks
Matt

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt is unlikely Sky can do anything as the chances are someone elsewhere in the world did that as spoofing numbers does happen. You have done everything right by changing passwords and the like. This might have just been a one off but my guess is if you were to Google this you will see it has happened to others as well,
