We have moved over from BT (samsung phone) to Sky Mobile (iphone) and transferred the number over, and for over a week now we have not been able to receive text messages. They come through ok from the bank, and sky etc but nothing is coming through from personal mobile numbers.
Many calls to Sky with no resolution.
Called BT all has moved over from them
Called Apple who advised get in touch with service provider
Seen a few threads with this issue on, has anyone managed to find a solution?
Have googled and tried literally dozens of ways to fix but to no avail.

No they haven't and tbh losing the will, thinking of cancelling now as spent over a week trying to fix this issue. I will see what they say when I call again. But do we know if it would even work?

I can't say for sure but over the years that this community has been here we have suggested that people who have had various issues after transferring their number to Sky then order a replacement and hardly any ever post back and the reason, probably because the replacement sim does fix their issue so as it is free then you have nothing to lose and all to gain by trying it.

Update, I asked for a replacement SIM which arrived today, and surprise surprise it has not resolved the issue. Now back on the phone to them. I am at a total loss with this and Sky are not helping.
