So after working in Iraq for 2 years with no issues with roaming prior to December 2023, I have come back in March and for the second time roaming is not working.
The last time I spent hours on the phone at international rates trying to sort it out. This culminated in me losing iMessage and all other Apple services as they got me to reset my service.
Won't be doing that again.
so here I am again with no service after doing everything they asked last time apart from resetting my service.
Clearly there is a backend issue with my mobile account.

Apple:
Settings > Mobile Data > SIM Applications > Change to Abroad
Android:
Sky Menu App or SIM toolkit > Roaming > Change to Abroad

Hi, Yes did all of these actions. Including Putting my Sim in another iPhone.
Spent over 4 hours on the phone to customer services last time at international rates.
even when I got back to the UK in January I had an issue getting back on to the Sky network. Had to call them up again.
