Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHave you also set up a new continuous payment method?
Before reinstating your services Sky will require payment in full and also the setting up of a new continuous payment method. If your payment is two or more weeks overdue you will also have to pay the next bill as well.
Once your payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, although this may not be instant, especially at a weekend.

One thing that really wound me up, I setup direct debit for my SIM from the beginning. Sky didn't take payment on the day said it was due. I then get restricted service, I rang sky and they mentioned bill payment. I said it was on direct debit, when he checked he told me sky failed to take the payment and will take in 10 days time. When I checked my account sky had only marked my account as unpaid.
I paid it there and then. After which I went ballistic, sky fail to take payment but blame the customer.
They are a little too quick with the restrictions at times, they need to get their own system in order.
