Regaining my old sky mobile number for my newly installed sky sim

Hello, I had accidently locked myself out of my mobile on my old sim with phone number. I needed to activate a new sim anyway for sky with my new mobile and new data plan which I have done but had to do this without transferring my old number as didnt have my old phone pac number and was unable to access my phone to do this. Is there a way I can get back my old phone number before its taken again?

You cannot use a PAC code to transfer a number within a network.

If your old SIM is still active then you can call Sky for a PAC code but you'll have to transfer it out of the network and back onto the new SIM.  (Unless Sky are prepared to apply the new dataplan to the existing SIM)

...or have you cancelled the old SIM?

Surely Sky should have just sent you a replacement sim card that you activated on your account.  surpised they set you up with a new plan.

@kevin88  Sky wouldn't have sent a replacement unless one was specifically ordered

If op only ordered a new sim and plan that is what they would have been sent
