I've got the same issue. Have waited about 10 hours and the sim is not activated. Would rather get this sorted now than wait days.

If it hasn't activated by the morning then you might need to order a replacement and try that insteadL

I've seen others that have had the issue solved remotely from the sky experts. One Sky employee said that there were 'third party issues'. So I would rather they solved it that way than wait with no phone for 3 days.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.
