I purchased a new phone as a christmas present, we've gone to activate the sim and the device isn't showing in manage my devices

Yes, it was purchased as a christmas present, so we've only just tried to activate the Sim

Make sure you order it on the same account that your device is on and when it arrives you should be able to activate it via here:
https://www.sky.com/myaccount/mobile/activate-sim/1/with-code
