Private numbers

When receiving calls from private numbers, my phone rings and I can answer it but they can't hear me and I can't hear them. All other calls work fine. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S23.

I'm Having the same issue using an S21 Ultra. Can answer the call to a private number but cannot hear or talk to the other person.  Private calls are from healthcare people trying to arrange appointments not spam callers or telemarketing.

Same with me, currently got a relative in hospital so is extremely frustrating being unable to speak to them when they call. 

Anyone able to help?

I have exactly the same problem. Samsung S22 Ultra +. It's only private numbers from an Occupational Health Company that I have this problem with!

Which company are you having problems with?

This has only become an issue in the last few weeks. Anyone calling with a private number including hospital, care home, GP surgery and also the police. It's really frustrating!

Same issue here with S23 Ultra! Has anyone had this resolved? I have a health condition and 90% of NHS calls are private numbers.

Small update on my post above. After some unsuccessful troubleshooting on the Sky Web Chat service:

"I will be escalating to the network team and it will be resolved in 3-5 working days . is
that okay ?"

I'm now having the same issue with the DWP who are calling me from a private number. I don't have their number to call them back so this leaves me in a difficult position. Any idea how to escalate this?

Nope, haven't heard from anyone and as far as I know I'm still having the issue! 

I was at the GP and explained the situation, when she called me there and then from a private number - of course it worked. So I looked like I was making it up! Then later that day the pharmacist called on a private number and the problem happened again - neither of us could hear the other. So now it appears to be intermittent and unexplainable.

It's a nightmare!!

My phone samsung also is not letting me speak or hear the caller which is my GP on q private number. Its very frustrating as I've spent the past 2 hours waiting for a urgent appointment for my unwell son who's 11
