Porting old number to sky

I've no mobile connection at all as ive requested my old number from o2 to be ported over . Any clue how long I'll be without service as it been 6 hours plus now.

You should keep using your old SIM (o2) until it stops working.

 

Then insert the new SIM (Sky).

 

When did you request the transfer as they are not processed over weekends.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

Requested to switch over yesterday afternoon and me phone went off at 4 this morning .. can't use o2 om new phone as its locked and doesn't work sadly .Am still able to use Internet on phone luckily tho for WhatsApp etc .

If you gave Sky your PAC code yesterday then as it was a Sunday it will be as if you gave them the code today so all being well the number should transfer over sometime  tomorrow.

o2 has gone off now and sky sim still not active been over an hour now 😫

If the 02 sim has stopped working then the Sky sim should work using the number it came with as you are just waiting for your phone number you had with 02 to transfer to it.

All sorted , went to a sky retailer by me and had a new sim fitted. All working fine now , cheers for the advice 👍
