Ported my number can’t send i messages

Hi 

I ported my daughters number over on Monday from EE and she can't send I 👁️messages or FaceTime it's an iPhone 16  I have tried switching FaceTime and messages off and switching the phone off and on then turning them back on and keep getting " I 👁️message activation An error occurred during activation. Try again " Her friends have said it's texting from her email address?? 

Also when I go into phone settings it's showing her number twice once as primary number and once as secondary number. 
I'm not very technical it's my daughters phone so could really do with some help.

If this is an iphone refresh the network settings so go Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.Then go to Settings - Phone - My Number and change it if it is wrong, then reboot the phone. You will need to set up your Wifi connection again.

This still hasn't worked it's just got her number and a grey spin wheel and then get email underneath it but still not sending i messages??

In the phone setting my number it had x2 numbers primary and secondary both the same number could this be why?
