My wife and I landed in Barbados on 4 Jan, and within less than three khours she was told she had reached her #45 limit. But she had not used her data at all. Today (6 jan)( was the first time we had an opporutniy to check, and discoevered her data allowance which had upped to 15+GB was down to 0.9 GB. My own - i did not use my phone - was down from just over 5 GB to 495 MB.
I emailed Sky but they have not bothered to repoly. Will soemone please egt them to explain and credit us back with our data. I did try and call an 0333 number but each time SDky said they ciuyld not recognise the key strokes - 1 - for mobile! and cut me off,
Names Bazlinon and Alvey . Please contact Sky fior us.
I have been with sky for 18+ years and a VIP member - seemes to stand for nothing.
We are stuck unable to use our phones and no-one to help us.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @grampacb sky don't generally use email as a communication method with customers hence the reason they haven't replied. They also won't call you as a result of your post on here. Did you make sure roaming and mobile data were turned off in your phone settings before leaving the UK ? If not then as soon as you landed your phones will have connected to the local network and used background data updating things, downloading emails etc and as Barbados is a rest of the world country for data use etc then data is very expensive.
