Denzil2301 Hi I've had nothing but bad service since getting my iPhone 13.
I've had the crackling phone calls ages ago and got told there was a problem with the mast and to put WI-FI calling on. Which I did only for the calls to drop out all the time. Turn Wi-Fi off and calls don't drop out as much but quality of the call isn't as good.

That's worked for me! Thanks

You mean WiFi calling turn it of even if WiFi is off is that what you are saying

No normal WiFi is on just WiFi calls are off. Hope this helps.

I will do that when on data and calls just use WiFi calling when at home

@Essy40 I am not sure the two are connected unless you have a faulty phone.
We now have three iphone 13s in this household but all have good phone quality.
There is still only me that has calls drop though.
I am beginning to wonder if it is phone number related rather than sim card as that is the only consistant thing.

Hi are people still having issues with this? I have been with Sky for 2 months and have noticed many calls switching from 4G to 3G. I took the phone in to Apple and they said there was nothing wrong with the phone. I provided Sky with details of examples of when the calls have dropped. Sky has now advised sending the phone to them which could take 7-10 working days to get back.
Anyone had this? Is it worth just cancelling the sim contract and going elsewhere?

I cancelled my SIM contract and moved to EE. No issues at all. The line is crystal clear and no calls dropping.
There's nothing wrong with your phone. I had to fight Sky on this too. Sending the phone in is pointless. A waste of your time and money, and theirs too. The phone is not faulty. Without any expertise whatsoever, I can tell you if you send the phone in, it will come back without fault. I guarantee it.
Sky told me it was mast related and there was an issue with the mast near my home. I went on vacation, not abroad, a staycation, and the problem was just as bad two hundred miles from my home. It's definitely something to do with the Sky network and the way it interacts with iPhones.

@Tcy13 @Not just iPhones 🤷🏻♀️
the last two years I had a Samsung s10 and that did it frequently. I thought it was that phone...

All I can say is I changed my phone and replaced the SIM with a new one and I have had no further issues

@Loutw4enty i tried changing sims when I upgraded my phone but it didn't work. I'm wondering if it's just the number 🤷🏻♀️

Was this through Sky? As in they gave you a replacement phone and SIM? They have given me a replacement SIM and that hasn't worked and I've tried the SIM in an old iPhone which I used on Vodafone in the past with no issues and now with the Sky SIM the service isn't good.
At what point did Sky give you a new device?

They gave me a new handset really quickly as I was able to say I'd be cancelling my contract as it was within the first 14 days.
It isn't as bad but still does happen if I put WI-FI calling on. Even when using my house WI-FI which is with Sky.
