Re: Phone calls dropping out

I too have started to notice this in the center of London and it's frustrating. I guess there is nothing new from Sky about it and when this will ever be fixed?

Re: Phone calls dropping out

Absolutely unbelievable. I've been with Sky for nearly 20 years and have been extremely impressed with the mobile service and quality over the last view years, but the last 4 weeks have been unbearable. I use my iphone 11 for work as well and when you can't even have a short conversation with someone without it dropping out is shocking. My wife has an iPhone Se and we might as well have a chat via carrier pigeon(it would be quicker). Sky sort it out as I'm pretty sure you must provide a level of quality to meet your contractual agreement. I will be checking and playing that card if needed unless you sort this out.

Re: Phone calls dropping out

The reception service is rubbish. I was told that I should upgrade my phone and this would sort my WI-FI calls from dropping out. I've now got a new iPhone and am paying more and still the calls just drop out and people can't contact me. What are sky going to do about this??

Re: Phone calls dropping out

Hi I moved to Sky after being with EE for about 20 years but due to moving house the signal was rubbish. My son who lives with me is on Sky no problems so I joined. I got iPhone 13 it start dropping calls straight away. Sky told my it was a dodge phone so they replaced with a new iPhone 13. To begin with it was fine now it's starting to drop the calls again. So frustrating!

Re: Phone calls dropping out

Hi all, I have read through all the posts from the last few months with regards to call dropping out etc, has anyone been given a solution to the ongoing issue?
please let me know as this is a breach of the supply of goods act and sky are not delivering a the service that we are paying for.

Re: Phone calls dropping out

@Sparks8008

Still nothing sorted to change it - there's loads of newer threads than this about it now and sky just don't seem to care. I just pointed out to a sky employee (on a different thread) that if Sky continue sitting it out and doing nothing then sooner or later someone's gonna go down the legal route cos we're simply not getting what we pay for 🤷🏼‍♀️

Re: Phone calls dropping out

Well I can't belive how many other people have this issue, first few seconds on call is fine then beep disconnected.  I had my husband in intensive care and couldn't visit, so you can imagine how frustrating this was, yes works fine through WhatsApp.  JOKE, come on Sky sort this out, thinking of leaving and my mum is deff leaving once her year is up, no point being cheap if you can't deliver proper service in the 21st Century.

Re: Phone calls dropping out

Why don't you give us some practical advice instead of copying and pasting the same message to individuals? We are all suffering from this woeful service from Sky and it appears that the common denominator here is your network. Please do something about this as we are paying customers and the service right now is extremely lacking. You should surely be looking into this in order to address this issue which is affecting dozens and dozens of us.

Re: Phone calls dropping out

Hi , this needs escalating for everyone in this forum. not just the comment you have read.This has been going on for over a month for my self and it's unacceptable as we are not getting what we pay for.

SKY please sort this issue out or at the very least let us know what's happening as know one seems bothered as long as we Pay our bills, which in all honesty we have every right to refuse.

Re: Phone calls dropping out

This issue seems to affecting a lot of users and sky are not taking anyone seriously.
I believe legal action may be the only way to go as this issue has been going on for many months and there's been no visible solution posted to resolve this.
sky are in breach of contract under the supply of goods act and need to be held accountable for there lack of response to this situation.
it's clearly having an affect on people and there wellbeing as I know this is frustrating and annoying when nothing is being done.

@Lisa-P1987
Picking out selective comments to offer chat (that solves nothing!) is pretty disrespectful to those of us that have already done the chat and found it about as helpful as your copy and paste comments!
Incase you're struggling to read ALL comments, there's a lot of unhappy customers on here and it's time Sky did something about it because charging us for a service that (Sky knows) simply doesn't work is completely wrong!

Re: Phone calls dropping out

If anybody here has an idea about what we as dissatisfied customers can do to get Sky to take action then please kindly let us know here, be it a template letter before action, or something citing the below par service being received from Sky, something we can all send to Sky's head office or CEO, someone high up the chain who will take notice and finally do something instead of gracing us with their copy and pasty bog standard pathetic responses every now and then would be very much appreciated by all. I think it's downright insulting that over 6/7 pages of complaints from customers, all Sky have done is respond with the same copy and paste reply with no deviation. They clearly think we are mugs.

Re: Phone calls dropping out

@Spacedout1  I couldn't agree more. Sky need to start taking this seriously cos this isn't the only thread on this matter so there's more than 6/7 pages

Re: Phone calls dropping out

I've recently moved to virgin mobile using my existing sky mobile phone, an Iphone11 (that was apparently faulty, according to sky's reason for my calls dropping out all the time). I'm pleased to say that my calls are fine and not dropping out on wifi calling and via mobile reception. It's a pity I had to leave sky to prove this.
