Is there any chance that Sky are moving over to new IT systems hence the reason with all these issues with their online services? I remember the same thing happening to me when I was with Vodafone a few years ago.
At least an explanation of what the reason is (for example, upgrading IT systems) occurring so much to Sky customers would be much appreciated, as this is becoming quite concerning.

Did anyone get this sorted? I'm in a worse position because not only do my calls drop, the quality of each and every call is extremely poor, it's very muffled, noisy and sounds like me and the other person are underwater. I'm constantly on 1 bar out of 4, based in London, signal/coverage checker shows that I should be getting very good coverage but my 1 bar tells me otherwise. My phone is an iPhone XS and 2 other family members on iPhones have the same issue. I'm so fed up of it and want to leave sky mobile 😞

@Spacedout1 Don't think anyones got a solution and beginning to think sky don't care as long as they keep getting our money. Mine seems to right itself for a few days and then it's back worse than ever 😕
gonna see out my contract and just walk away cos it's really not worth the hassle

Myself and my wife when we receive or make a call it usually cuts off a few words into the conversation, usually fine when you ring back but so frustrating to have to do this virtually every time you make or receive a call, both on iPhone 12.

Hi I've just moved to Sky mobile and have an iPhone 13. My phone calls keep dropping out and I get a called failed on the screen. I have tried Wi-Fi calling both on and off. This makes no difference. People can't always hear my when I'm ringing them either. Very frustrating as I moved to sky as I need reliable service as I have on going health issues and don't want to miss important calls. Please help !

Posted by a Sky employeeHi there, you can use our device support online to try and resolve the issue. If you can't, it gives you a 55- number to quote to our tech teams who can then try further checks and test for you.

Still continuing to have issues.. 3 of my family all on sky with iPhones continuing to have the issue and it seems to be getting worse. Calls made on wifi calling are no better even if I put it in airplane mode which was a solution. Sky, clearly this is an issue for so many customers - is there any long term solution to this?

This is happening to me frequently as well. Had the phone since November and its been continuos cutting out / calls dropping, decreasing audio quality all the way through to full robotic voice sounds, calling but no audio at all.
It is getting to be seriously irritating and no resolution is forth coming - I had initially wondered if it was the handset but it sounds like its a sky mobile problem.
Oh and streaming likes to just cut out as well now !!

My son is with sky as well and has iPhone 11 and doesn't have this issues. My new phone that I got when I complained about this issue has been ok up to now but I don't have WF FI calling switched on.

I just moved to Sky Mobile from Vodafone (after 17 years with them) and I am frustrated beyond belief with the awful service on my iPhone 12 Pro Max ...... calls cut off within a minute or two of connecting. Or I'm holding ( like yesterday for passport office) and it beeps and cuts off! Call quality is poor. Everyone says they can't hear me and it's breaking up or I sound like it's underwater.
Is Sky actually going to answer these queries?
Or let us know why ? And what they are going to do about it. I'll be heading back to Vodafone at end of my contract ....... very very disappointed.

I know your frustration. I moved from EE after being with them for about 20yrs. If you've only justed moved and are in your cooling of period I'd ring them explain the problem and they may offer to send you a new phone and you return your current one. I also found the problem isn't as bad if I turn WI FI calling off.

I know this is from last year but I wanted to add as I have googled this issue AGAIN. I've had the issue for the last two years on Samsung galaxy s10. I thought it was the phone so when it started happening on my brand new iPhone 13 I thought it must be the sim. But two sims later and it's still doing the same thing.
I mostly only get calls at home and I'm sure it's only them, but it mostly only happens when people call me. They tell me who they are and then the line goes silent but is still connected. So no not just iPhone. Beginning to think when this contracts up I might move, it's only my phone it does it on, son and daughter have the s10 and never have the issue. I've had to use theirs to make the call to the place where mine keeps hanging up.
annoying as I only answer important calls.
