Posted by a Sky employeeI have had this problem myself and I understand there is something in the works to fix it permenantly but in the short term I have resolved it with the following steps.
1. go to settings
2. select mobile data
3. mobile data options
4. select voice and data
5. turn off VoLTE
Since doing this I have had no issues with calls at all.

I'm leaving my Giffgaff sim in my mobile for a few days to check problem doesnt return.
By turning off VoLTE we are disabling 4G for calls and going back to 2G/3G.
Am interested in whether this works for the others having this problem, and it's weird that my Giffgaff sim works 100% fine with VoLTE enabled as they both use the same network.
Thanks for the info, not knocking you for giving us advice, I just wonder why it's only our phones, again there must be thousands of Sky Mobile Iphone users with no problems and VoLTE enabled.
Its all very strange

@Daniel0210 Unfortunately this isn't the case for me. Phone is up to date and still happening

@Mr+Flibbles+86 @I would like this to be re escalated please. I've never had this problem on any phone previous and I was on O2. I switched to sky after being an O2 customer for over 20 years and seriously regretting my decision as I am getting dead calls or call failed at least 6 times in one day and it is every day

I'm in London, it seems we're dotted all over the place.

Spoke on Sky Chat, they esculated to specialist department, they phoned me up and said it's a known problem between certain apple iphones and Sky, and they are working on a fix.
He said they hoped to have a fix by end of December and he suggests trying my sim every week to see if it's fixed.
I said I can't afford to keep having calls drop every week while I test it, and his reply was
"as you are having zero problems with Giffgaf,f and I can't guarentee a fix date, I sugest you port your number to them and use them instead"
Number should finish porting today. Wifes still with Sky mobile on her Samsung, and still have their BB and Sky Q, but I couldnt hold on any longer for a mobile fix. Will probably come back in a few months when everyone says it's now working fine.

Hi,
I have been having the same problems as well. I moved to Sky after a very good review about mobile. I also use sky for broadband and works well. I am just 5-6 months in my contract and this call dropping is really causing me issues in work and personal life. Is there a way to leave the contract? I have made a complaint about this issue
Thanks

Anyone know if there's any fix for this yet? It seems to go ok for a couple of days then starts up again.
Our phones are totally up to date and we can't go on like this forever!
if this isn't going to be sorted soon we need to be taking steps to terminate our contracts

My friend Samsung z flip, same issue.
It's a joke! We left ee after 10 years for this crap!
Also trying to run a business with call drops is disgraceful, it needs sorting or I'll be leaving with all 4 contracts as sky are not providing me with the service im payimg for. What the hell are we all paying for???
It's a joke!!!

Same here. Ordered a new iPhone 13 and sky mobile contract and then a second sim for my daughter. Hers is fine. Mine is not. Sky have sent me a new sim, but didn't solve it. I put my sim in an old iPhone 8 and it works perfectly! Put it back in iPhone 13 this morning and already lost signal 3 times! How can it be fine in one phone, but not the other?
