Returned a phone I thought was in good condition, only to have it's valuation reduced by 50% with no explanation/justification/evidence as to what warranted the change in value.
Feels like a scam to not pay out.
All I can do is accept the reduced value or reject and get the phone back....

Find out moreI take it you didn't take any photos before returning the phone as usually a lower valuation is put down to "damage", if not before rejecting the offer you could call Sky to ask them about this and why the valuation has been reduced and if they say it was due to damage ask to see proof by means of photos of the damage.

Didn't take any photos as I wasn't expecting any problems - lesson learnt.
Equally Sky has provided no evidence or explanation of the additional damage to produce a 50% reduction in value.
