Paid bill services not reinstated

I was a little behind on payments due to being in hospital, I have tried to reinstate my account I paid the bill in full but my services aren't back on, tried the chat but can't speak to anyone human, any ideas any one? Thank you.

Hi @Gotherita  did you also set up a new continuous payment method as that needs to be done ? If you were more than 2 weeks late you may also have to pay the next bill. Once all this done and payment cleared in Skys account your service will be reinstated.

Hiya yes I did set up a direct debit but still no avail, not seen anything about having to pay the future bill, more worried about losing my number as my whole life is basically connected to it

You could try calling sky on 150, it may still work @Gotherita

@Gotherita 

As @63johnw has stated, if your payment is two or more weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well and if you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription (but you’ll still owe the arrears).

 

Once your full payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but this may not be instant. Any payment you make over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday won’t be processed until the following week.

If you were a couple of months late paying the bill then the post above by @Daniel0210 applies as Sky are known to close accounts when payments have been revised for 56 days or more.
