Our mobile phones or visitors either wont connect in our house or dropout.

Mobile phones rarely connect within our  house if they do then they drop out. Callers just give up --- texts and emails all work ok. To complicate matters our landline has been cut off by Open Reach while working on neighbours phone line  at the box in our front garden and cant repair without notifiction from Sky?!

Broadband is working perfect and have performed all the tests on phones and sims on both my wifes phone and mine but logically if the phones work perfect away from home the fault must lie with the signal -- Even visitors phones wont work inside our house.

5G is not available in our area but 4G+ is very strong outside the property but not very convenient having to stand in the street to make mobile calls and not being able to receive any incoming calls at all.

The problem started about 18 months ago and  I got no help from Sky and has deteriorated to completely useless now and still cant get any response/help  from SKY.

I think the only answer is to follow my neighbours lead and migrate from SKY after more than 20 years.

Re: Our mobile phones or visitors either wont connect in our house or dropout.

We have tried WiFi calling, switching the router off and on ,switching phones on and off removing and replacing sim cards, new sim cards, switching off GiffGaff and switching on other suppliers (such as EE and vodaphone)  then reswitching on giffgaff still no change. As isaid in my original message if it was just my phone these suggestions would have made sense but no phone in my house works even though the phones are all working in other premises or roaming , which surely means that the signal or router must be at fault?
