Ordered new phone instead of a swap
Hi
I ordered a new phone through the sky app instead of a Sky swap. I am already a sky mobile customer and have a phone with them. Can I return the device or port my number and contents of phone to new phone? Or do I need to return it and do a swap via the app?

You could call Sky and see if they can perform a retrospective swap.
If not, you can either sell (or use trade in services) the phone yourself and pay off the balance or return the new one (within cooling off period) and then initiate a swap (but note a new credit check will be performed).
In regards to your phone number you simply move your current SIM to your new phone. (You cannot port a number within a network - if you activate a new SIM then it will have a new number and you'll be paying for 2 plans)
There is a protracted method of moving numbers but requires porting the number outside the network.

but I'm thinking I can't move sims across iPhones?

You will need to call Sky on 150 from the mobile you already have to see if they can adjust the order to put it through as a swap. If not they might have to cancel the order meaning it would have to be ordered again via a swap but this would mean being credit checked again if you or they were to do this.

Why not?
Eject it from old phone, place in new phone.
