Ordered MacBook Air 2025 and it’s been 2 weeks

I have been following this thread.
Unfortunately I can relate to many in here.

I ordered a Macbook Air M4, 13 Inch 512gb Midnight Black on the 27th September. Almost 3 weeks ago.
I contacted Sky today and was given every excuse under the sun about stock and how the "back end team" deal with stock issues.
I argued thats not my problem, its Sky who should not be accepting orders for stock it knows it doesnt have in the first place.

I was then asked if i would like another Macbook in a different colour and spec, honestly!!! I ordered my specific Macbook as that was the Spec i wanted!!
I have went ahead and put an official complaint in. That in itself is laughable, will get a reply within 14 days. I think i need to make a complaint about the complaint process.

Oh my goodness yeah I was on the complaint chat and basically said the same thing

Instead of prohitbiting potential customers from ordering a device when its not in stock, Sky are happy to take orders and get sales before allowing them potential customers to go else where.
I guess they are happy to receive complaints and let customers wait weeks on a Macbook or what ever device it may be before allowing customers to take their purchase else where.

Anything to get our money, they'd rather have tons of complaints and take our money than let us go elsewhere with our money. It's ridiculous

I used the online chat method rather than phoning and said I was not happy with the constant miss-communication and they did it for me. 
I was going to cancel it so I started up a new chat and that advisor could see that it was escalated.

but glad the only way to cancel it was via phone or I might have not received it today 🥂

I've been tempted to cancel it but the deal with sky was the best one I saw for this MacBook so I'm hesitant... I will be giving their live chat a try in the morning though

Exactly! I don't really have any credit but I have a phone with Sky as well I'm paying for so Sky is the only company that has accepted my credit. It's irritating as all hell

Guys!!!! **UPDATE**

badidally, after ringing them the other day and escalating it and saying how o had been mislead by representatives and complaint about how they had closed my complaint prematurely without any resolve, I feel this has worked as today, I finally received my 2025 MacBook air in Midnight. 

keep pushing them guys and keep on to them and don't take no for an answer. They have stock, they're robbing you off with false information. Stand your ground and tell them you demand yours to be delivered as other people have!

Yeah it's the 512gb on back order. I'm currently talking to an agent on the chat to cancel my 512gb MacBook Air order so I can get the 256gb one that's in stock

What's the number mines in starlight so because yours is in a different colour Mabey they had ur stock I dunno
