Old number hasn’t transferred

I changed my old phone number onto my new phone and I got a text from sky saying that my phone number has been transferred but it hasn't it still says my phone number is my new one.

Have you gone into the settings on your phone to change the number to the correct one ?

It says my old number on my contact but in settings on devices it says my phone number is the new one not the old and i cant change it

Try ordering yourself a replacement sim as that should come with your transfers number so should fix this for you:
