I just switched for Vodafone to Sky and having same issue with Google and ESB (so far). Sky Mobile is only new in ROI so I hope it's teething problems but this needs to be resolved. Anyone else in Ireland having this issue?

I am having the same issue. I have a bank in Australia, so its going to be hard to call them without it costinga fortune. I will try phoneing Sky tomorrow, but after rading posts on here I'm not thinking it'll be resolved. 😞

If it's been under 10 days I would hold off and save yourself the hassle as it seems to take a while to transfer banking over and tbh they aren't helpful at all when you call. Mine transferred over on its own. Best of luck 🙂

Yes, they all came through at once and everything went back to normal. I've never had an issue since. It's not just Sky either, it's with all providers if you use the pac code to keep your number. Just wish I knew that at the time before all the wasted phone calls.

Has anyone been able to fix the issue with not being able to receive OTP texts?
I've moved to Sky from EE in the last week and never previously had issues. Since moving my number across I can't receive verification codes from: Barclays, Facebook, Instagram, NHS, eBay, PayPal and more. I have spoken to sky customer service 4 times including this evening where they have escalated this to receive a call back within 2-3 days.
I have tried turning off the spend cap, reset network settings, trying the sim in a different handset, resetting the settings via the software update from sky, unblocking blocked numbers, handset off and on, cleaning the sim and trying airplane mode on/off etc all to no avail so far.
Any advice would be appreciated, I've seen multiple posts for the same thing but none that actually say it's fixed.

My post above says mine corrected itself in about 8 days. I was the same as you. Couldn't get into any of my bank accounts or my NHS emails. Honestly don't waste your time trying to call anyone as they don't have a clue. Leave it for a while and it should all correct itself. Anything with added security such as banking takes a bit longer or that's how it was in my case anyway. Good luck 😊 PS I also moved from EE to Sky.

I've called and waiting to see if I get anything back but I have this which is preventing me getting medical results as there is no way to log into the system without a OTP code being entered which I can't get as the SMS isn't coming through.

Not sure where my previous reply went! Haha. Following your advice I left it for a couple of weeks and then the texts started working thankfully! Was glad if your advice as saved me a lot of stress of trying to call sky to sort the issue.

Unfortunately from previous replies in this thread the only thing to do is wait and hope they start to come through. It doesn't sound like many people got it sorted by calling sky. Understand your need is quite important, so hopefully they have learned from previous issues with this and have a fix

Same issue after moving to Sky Mobile Ireland from Eir. Cannot receive any verification codes.
Temp number is appearing under RCS and "Phone Number" in settings.
