OPT and authentification codes not being received by Sky mobile account
I am a new Sky mobile customer. I am finding that normal texts are comming though but OPT and authentification codes not being deliviered. I got a message from Sky to say quote Sky Mobile will send handset configurations for the following servies MMS, GPRS and Internet browsing GPRS. Please accept any setting. unquote. What does that mean? And why can I not get the OPTs I used to receive with no problem on EE.

Hi @Janetg1 the configuration message refers to internet settings, if mobile data is working ok then no need to worry. With regards OTP codes, this has come up before, call sky on 150 and tell them the companies in question so they can look at your account for you.

Well This community discussions area is magic because about 10 minutes after I posted the above, all of sudden all the OPTs came through together! Who knows perhaps you can cure the common cold.....?

🤣 I wish we could @Janetg1 and I think pure coincidence for the messages coming through, I don't think this forum is that powerful.
